It earns while it waits.
Your USDC sits in a yield vault on Solana — tokenised T-bills and lending — until the outcome resolves.
03
It settles.
Winners split the whole pool's interest. Everyone, on both sides, takes back exactly what they put in.
“It's a savings account with an opinion. You can't lose the deposit to a bad call — only the interest you'd have earned.”

of every deposit comes back — win, lose or void.
Plainly.
No-loss means no loss to the market. Not no risk at all.
You can lose the interest.
Back the wrong side and you earn nothing for the time your money was in.
You carry the vault's risk.
The yield token, its issuer and the contracts can fail — the same risk as holding that yield token yourself.
Small stakes win small.
A longshot pays a big multiple of a small number. Nobody gets rich on interest.
It isn't live yet.
There's no contract to point at, and this page won't pretend otherwise.
The short answers.
Can I actually lose money?
Not to the outcome. Win or lose, your deposit comes back in full. What you risk is the interest you'd have earned elsewhere, plus the risk of the vault itself.
Where does the interest come from?
Deposits go into yield-bearing dollars on Solana — tokenised short-term US Treasuries and over-collateralised lending. The rate moves with the market, which is why every number here says "about".
What if everyone picks the favourite?
Then the favourite pays little. If 90% of the pool is on Yes and Yes wins, Yes holders get about 1.1× their normal interest. If No wins, the 10% split everything — about 10×. Odds, but on interest.
Can I leave before it settles?
Yes. You take your full deposit back at any time. The interest your stake earned stays in the pool for the winners.
Who decides who won?
coffr doesn't. Each pool follows the resolution of the Polymarket market it mirrors. If a market is voided, everyone gets their deposit back and the interest is returned pro rata.
What does coffr earn?
10% of the interest a pool earns. Never any part of a deposit, and nothing from a pool that earns nothing.
